Reusable Water Filter

    I like the thought of using less water bottles, keep a jug in the fridge just to chill tap water, work wells. But when it's not cold not best taste. So taking a bottle to work etc get s bit dull once warmed up.

    Saw this, thoughts on how well it would work -

    I just drink normal water from the tap. I don't see a problem with it.

    Not sure where you live but the taste of tap water varies drasically from place to place. Ours tastes more like a metallic chemical soup. Will it do you any harm - probably not, does it taste nice - no.
    We uses a jug type filter to remove the taste at home and when out rely on frothy coffe [to hide the taste] if driving, and real ale if not.

    "Back flushing" is going to be your biggest problem with nearly all water filters out there.

    MSR did make one that you could leave on the table. Filtered around a pint a time.
